"I love my job. How many people can say that? And what does it really mean? For me, it means that I wake up every morning excited about the day ahead: the contribution I am going to make to people's lives and businesses. No two days are the same at Polaron - different clients, different languages, different issues. I am always learning new things, researching new topics, technologies and global developments. I'm a person who always strives to be the best at what they do. I dedicate my time to teach others and learn from others. This, I believe, is the key to Polaron's success.
Having been part of the language industry for the past twenty years, I have been exposed to all facets of the interpreting and translating profession. Although I don't get to do much interpreting or translating any more, working with clients hands on is still and probably always will be what I love to do the best. And of course working on the front line has given me a really good understanding of what good practice is and how to apply it to Polaron." |
