Translators / Interpreters
Polaron is rapidly expanding its network of translators and interpreters. We welcome new applicants into Polaron who have a NAATI accreditation or equivalent, in any language. We are committed to training and supporting budding practitioners, and are always willing to talk to people entering the industry. In fact, we are just about the only language services company in Australia that answers each and every employment enquiry.Â
Having said that, we are always interested in working with experienced translators and interpreters, whose expertise and knowledge we respect and appreciate.Â
Our intake process consists of reviewing your CV and qualifications, contacting your referees and a personal interview at our Melbourne office, or, for practitioners based interstate, we can arrange to meet during our next visit to their city. At the end of the processes, if you are successful, we will set you up with a translation partner for the first six months of working with us, who will check your work and provide you with relevant feedback. If this sounds like a good system to YOU, then simply email your application below. Interns
Polaron Language Services welcomes enquiries from interns wishing to participate in the Polaron Global Internship Program in the following areas: translation and interpreting, marketing and advertising, information technology, accounting and finance, administration and management, graphic design, media and journalism, database design and project management.Â
Over the last 3 years, we have hosted over 20 interns and students from tertiary institutions from countries such as Germany, France, Lebanon, Poland, Switzerland and Italy. Our interns are immersed in all aspects of Polaron's business, including translations, project management and research. Guided by our senior staff members, Polaron's interns get to learn how a translation bureau operates, making them more aware of and more employable.
